Well I imagine that if Drow really lived in the modern world, they like us would be working scmucks. And of course since Tourisim brings commerce...and Commerce brings hunger, and BLOODY McDonalds even has a resturaunt near the freaking egyptian pryamids...
why not have one in the Underdark? Besides, Drow are really well suited to grave yard shift fast food clerks. I mean they are viciouse, blood thirsty smart asses, that delight in stabbing each other in the back to get higher positions and prolly relish in pissing off the customers by purposefully getting their orders wrong. Visit, if you like dark elves/drow.
All that translating must have taken forever, I can hardly get things to come out the way I want them to on that dreaded thing... Doesn't help that I usually can't spell/punctuate for my life, so the translator just looks at me and spits spiders at me muttering "vith dos" or some other not-nice thing in drow.
