This 16X20 inch painting is massive. Too big for any scanner in the house, and we have some big scanners.
it is done completely in water based wood work quality Apple Barrel acylic paint, and will be up for auction at Katsucon this comming Feb 18th-20th.

I love Xellos more than any other character out there, so selling him is like auctioning off my boyfriend (LOL)
bidding will start at 25$ so happy bidding!

Xellos is the demonic creature/wizard from slayers Next and Try. My favorite encarnation of him would have to be in the old Sega Saturn RPG. ^.^

I just layered on tons of diffrent shades of purple and glazed it with navy blue and highlighted with violet and white.

Slayers is such a awesome anime, I love watching it again and again. Zelgadis is my favourite but Xellos runs in a close second. And this is an excellent piece of him. I love the style you drew his face with. His hair came out lovely also, totally great. You spiffy person with talent you.

Looks really good, and his hir flows very well! My ownly quam is the highlighting on his staffs orb... Looks strange.

And your right, Xelloss is an awsome character. Slayers is also one of my favorite Animes (First one I bought the DVD's for!) And I hope youget a good amount for this!

I used a marble and well, got a bit wonky on the staff. I haven't figured out how to make a glowy orb yet.

but I shall make a point to practice. :)

This is a very, very good painting!! The only thing that looks out of place is the staff, it looks kind of unfinished. But all in all really great work!!

there is still a few days before the con to work on the staff...

inanimate objects really frustrate me. But I hope practise will help that. :)
